RON MALLORY (b. 1973) is a composer of multimedia and concert music. Ron writes primarily for piano, chamber ensembles, and electronic instruments, and his unique handbell compositions have been performed around the globe. His 2022 album “When Dreams Take Flight” is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. He has composed musical backtracks for several short-form Internet video projects, including his own AstroTimelapse series.
Ron also has experience as a church musician and as a music educator at the high school and middle school levels. He has served as guest conductor and clinician at music festivals and conferences around the United States. Ron holds a bachelor’s degree in music composition from California State University, Long Beach and a master’s degree in conducting from the University of Washington.
Ron is also involved in astronomy education through his planetarium company, Ad Astra Planetarium.
